Senior Project Manager Job Description: Our client, a prominent organisation, is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a background in Agile Software Development and experience in the Gaming sector.
This is a 9-month contract based in Dublin district.
This is a day rate contract role.
Job Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects within an Agile environment, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Liaise with stakeholders to define project goals and establish success criteria.
Oversee risk management and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide clear communication and reporting on project progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all organisational processes and quality standards.
Leverage prior experience in the gaming industry to deliver tailored project solutions.
Experience Required: Minimum 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in Agile Software Development.
Proven track record of managing projects within the gaming sector.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Skills: Certification in Agile project management (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project tracking systems.
Familiarity with game development processes and technologies.
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
