Due to increased business at their R&D Innovation Centre in Santry, they require a Quality Manager to support their R&D Team. RoleDevelop, implement & maintain quality management systems within the global brand unit, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the product or service lifecycle.Identifying & addressing quality issues, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a quality-centric culture within the business unit.Drive Customer Focus initiatives by addressing customer feedback, complaints, and quality-related issues.Working closely with customer-facing teams to meet and deliver on customer expectations.Mitigating root cause and equipment failure by defining and implementing effective Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.Manage continuous Process Improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvement and leading initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of operations.Implementing best practices and quality tools to optimize processes.Providing feedback on equipment nonconformance issues by accurately performing tests and calibration standards, implementing improvement recommendations, and driving solutions as needed.Meet Quality Metrics and Reporting Initiatives by establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system, and regular reporting on quality metrics and performance.Managing and maintaining quality goals by performing acceptance tests and inspections of new equipment, then identifying and leading improvement projects and processes.Manage successful equipment new, changed product releases by critiquing and updating Engineering drawings, then determining quality and reliability expectations of finished goods through analysis of statistical data and engineering specifications.Develop an innovative, customer-centric, high-performing Equipment Quality team by exercising strong leadership and judgment skills to acquire, develop, train, coach, cultivate, and manage talented, responsive leaders, coworkers, and subject matter experts.Maintain equipment quality standards and expectations by ensuring equipment conforms to internal, customer, and ISO9001 standards.Leading and facilitating internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving corrective and preventive actions.Establish quality control standards for function and performance design specs by overseeing and publishing engineering reports that summarize data and analytics, user manuals and technical reports for Marketing, and production floor SOPs.Developing appropriate inspection plans and separating parts, including incoming parts, determining fitness-for-use, compliance with documented standards, and liaising with Supply Chain to establish best procurement practices.RequirementsBA/BS in Engineering, mechanical (BSME) or electrical (BSEE) preferred.ASQ Certification preferred (CMQ/OE or CQE).Familiar with Minitab and/or statistical process analysis.Proficiency in Quality Management Systems.Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred.Excellent knowledge of ISO9001 and Good Manufacturing Practices.Min 5 years' experience in an equipment engineering environment.Min 5+ years engineering experience in electromechanical, optoelectronics, or photonic design, development, testing, and/or quality assurance. Experience in adhesives industry a plus.
