About the role An exciting opportunity has opened up in our Private Clients department for a Director level Equity Advisory Specialist.
In the role, the successful candidate will have responsibility for the following:   Equities Deliver financial analysis, valuation and risk assessment of Irish equities to the private client audience.
Liaise with Head of Equities and Head of Global Fundamental Equities fund on their equity lists and fund holdings.
Where necessary, conduct own equity research and analysis to address specific stock queries.
Liaise with the Investment Strategy team on macro and market views.
Work with the Strategy and Selection teams to help develop thematic equity ideas.
Client Engagement Point person for private client advisers on Irish equities and thematic equities.
Resource for advisers of UHNW clients on customised equity portfolios and specific equity requests.
Support resource for direct lists and Global Fundamental Equities fund.
Work with private client advisers on engagement strategies for clients with Irish equity holdings.
Participate in new business development initiatives and prospect meetings.
Contribute to the firm's thought leadership through insight papers, presentations and speaking engagements.
Requirements About you We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 10+ years of equity research or equity fund management experience.
Advanced degree in finance, economics or related field.  CFA charterholder preferable Comprehensive and practical understanding of fundamental equity analysis, portfolio construction and risk analysis.
Superior analytical and quantitative skills.
Flexible working style adaptable to working across investment and client teams.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
