Employee Relations Business Partner opportunity - Permanent - Dublin or Cork MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a multi-award winning Irish organisation, as they look to introduce an ER Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis. You will be joining a Top 100 Company who have gone from strength to strength, and who are currently going through a period of transformational change. The successful candidate can be primarily based in Cork or Dublin. The role: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and productive work environment within an organisation. You will work closely with business leaders and line managers to diagnose people priorities, create people plans, and help implement organisation-wide people approaches. The main responsibilities: Developing and implementing effective Employee Relations strategies. Providing all Employees with trusted council and advise in all matters employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) related. Leading on negotiations with trade unions, as required, to deliver positive commercial outcomes. Managing all third-party referrals to the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and Industrial Tribunals (UK). Leading on the people aspects of change management initiatives, as required. Supporting the upskilling of Line Managers and employees on employee relations, employment legislation and best practice. Ensuring a coordinated and consistent case management of ER matters. Collaborating with Heads of HR and HR Business Partners on ER data insights, trends and opportunities to drive proactive solutions. Examine trends to diagnose root causes and develop solutions to enable effective corrective actions. Acting as an internal point of appeal in grievance / disciplinary cases (where required). Contributing to key engagements events with relevant HR practitioners and managers, through HR Fora, Webinars and workshops. Supporting key strategic projects as required, including acquisitions. Supporting HR projects and other HR work, as required. The successful candidate: 5 years+ experience in a senior HR role with a focus on industrial relations and employee relations in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading negotiations with trade unions. Experience in third-party representations in the Republic of Ireland, i.e. Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court. Detailed knowledge of current Republic of Ireland employment legislation. Full clean driving licence. Degree in HR/Business/Law or related discipline or relevant experience.
