Position Overview: The primary purpose of this role is to oversee and manage all aspects of the HVAC business, including commissioning, validation, project execution, and maintenance activities.
This involves ensuring daily operations align with company and client requirements.
Additionally, the role supports the development and growth of the business, working closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Validation Lead to achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Primary contact with clients in relation to contract issues.
Manage all aspects of the HVAC business, including maintenance, validation, commissioning and project works.
Management of service contracts, contracts renewals etc.
Resource planning.
Develop daily/weekly work schedules and prioritise/manage workflows.
Liaise with sub-contractors, vendors and review quote, estimates, schedules and completion dates.
Team coordination and providing technical assistance and solutions to engineers and technicians.
Ensure work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest standard.
Attend site meetings, complete site surveys, review validation and commissioning tender proposals and documentation.
Ensure the team performs in an efficient and flexible manner to ensure targets are achieved and profits are maximised.
Review client reports.
Liaising with client contracts to review contract works, project works and to scope any proposed works for pricing.
Prepare quotations and ensure timely invoicing.
Liaise with external auditors.
Ensure all SOPs and document management systems are maintained.
Ensure employee records are maintained and updated.
Set goals to enable the growth and development of the business.
Conduct annual reviews for the team.
Management of health and safety issues.
Interviewing prospective new employees.
Education & Qualifications: Relevant Engineering Qualification i.e., Level 7 or Level 8 Mechanical, Building Project management qualification or experience would be an advantage.
Required Skills: Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (excel, word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, a confident and effective decision maker, with a proven ability to influence others.
Team player, with a flexible approach but also able to work under own initiative.
Strong verbal and interpersonal skills Competent level of technical writing and understanding of technical documentation.
Full clean driving licence required.
Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
Skills: Electrical Mechanical Supervisor
