European Trade Settlement Specialist

Exciting opportunity with a growing Financial Services firm who are looking to hire a talented individual into their European Settlements team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Fixed Income and Bond settlements, with specific experience working with Euroclear or Clearstream.
Key Responsibilities: Perform timely and accurate settlement of Fixed Income trades, including bonds and other debt instruments.Reconcile trade details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure adherence to settlement deadlines.Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth settlement processes.Monitor and mitigate settlement risks, implementing best practices and procedures.Provide support for post-trade activities, including trade affirmation and confirmation.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.2-5 years of experience working in settlement operations, preferably with a focus on Fixed Income.Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and market conventions, specifically in Euroclear and/or Clearstream.Familiarity with settlement cycles of T+1 and T+2.Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.If you are a motivated professional meeting the above requirements, with experience settling Equity or Fixed Income products through Euroclear or Clearstream, we encourage you to apply.
