Executive Vice President Compliance

A leading global fund services provider is seeking to hire a Financial Crime Executive. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Chief Compliance Officer and will offer advisory support on financial crime and sanctions matters to key management stakeholders and Lines of Business (LOB) teams within the Group. This role also presents an opportunity to significantly influence and develop related frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Provide advisory support on financial crime and sanctions issues to the Group Chief Compliance Officer and stakeholders.Develop and uphold the Group's AML and CFT policies, ensuring alignment with global industry standards.Lead and enhance the Group's sanctions screening strategy and program.Support the Group Compliance Policy Framework with respect to financial crime and sanctions and screening processes.Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant financial crime and sanctions-related training.Advise on client and transaction-related financial crime and sanctions matters.Support new business and change management initiatives.About you Strong working knowledge of EU / UK AML regulation and guidance, the USA PATRIOT Act and Bank Secrecy Act and global sanctions programs (including UN, OFAC, EU and UK Treasury programs).Strong understanding of financial markets and the alternative assets servicing industry.Demonstrated analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in interacting with senior management.Strong research skills and the ability to work independently.Proactive problem-solving skills, with a commitment to owning and resolving issues effectively.To find out more about the role, the company, and its benefits, apply now!
