Experienced Full Time Receptionist Maldron Hotel Kevin Street We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Receptionist in the excellent Maldron Hotel Kevin Street Located within the heart of Dublin City with Cathedral right on our doorstep and within walking distance to Temple Bar, Green and the Guinness Storehouse.
Multiple options for public transport is available within a 3 minute walk from the hotel door.
Maldron Hotel Kevin Street consists of 137 bedrooms and 22 parking spaces.
Objective of the Role Reporting to the primarily to the Front Office Manager accompanied by the Senior Management Team, the Receptionist is thefirst person that a guest meets on arrival to the Hotel, therefore it is of utmost importance that all staff present a friendly and professional image to our guests at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Greet and welcome our guests to the Hotel.
Register the guests and take payment.
Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
Take responsibility for the security of the keys.
Update all guest information in the computer.
Take and confirm reservations to our guests.
Offer support and assisting the reservations department as required Requirements: 1-2 years experience in a similar role Knowledge of Opera cloud is essential.
Handling individual and group reservations Excellent customer care skills.
Be able to work on your own initiative.
Excellent communication skills.
Be able to cope well under pressure.
