Package: Negotiable salary up to €45,000 based on experience - plus benefits
Our client, a leading global supply chain company based in Dublin North, seeks to hire an Export Ocean Freight Forwarder.
The position involves working in the ocean freight department, organising customer shipments by ocean from origins throughout the world into Ireland.
The job will entail dealing with all aspects of the service – bills of lading, dealing with ocean lines and customers, organising collection of goods, invoicing, and dealing with customs.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: Receiving and processing bookingsLogging export shipmentsUpdating transit reportsPassing vendor invoicesCustomer billingOrganising deliveriesHandling customer queriesManaging general queries and day-to-day tasks associated with ocean freightMinimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience within a shipping line or ocean freight forwarder is essentialEffective interpersonal skillsAbility to relate to customers and internal employees at all levelsGood problem solverGood working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTerms:
