Export Ocean Freight Forwarder

Our client, a leading global supply chain company based in Dublin North, now seeks to hire an Export Ocean Freight Forwarder. The position involves working in the ocean freight department, organising customer shipments by ocean from origins throughout the world into Ireland. The job will entail dealing with all aspects of the service – bills of lading, dealing with ocean lines and customers, organising collection of goods, invoicing, and dealing with customs.
Major Duties & Responsibilities: Receiving and processing bookings Logging export shipments Updating transit reports Passing vendor invoices Customer billing Organising deliveries Handling customer queries General queries and day-to-day tasks associated with ocean freight Minimum Requirements: 2+ years of experience within a shipping line or ocean freight forwarder is essential Effective interpersonal skills Ability to relate to customers and internal employees at all levels Good problem solver Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Terms:

Package:
Negotiable salary up to €45,000 based on experience - plus benefits
