Key Responsibilities: Freight Operations:Manage express groupage and consolidation shipments from origin to destination utilizing road and airfreight movements.Ensure efficient planning, coordination, and execution of freight movements.Customs Clearance:Handle end-to-end customs clearance procedures, including submission of accurate documentation.Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and facilitate prompt clearance of goods.Operate and manage processes using the Automated Import System (AIS).Customer & Stakeholder Management:Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service and prompt resolution of queries.Liaise with carriers, agents, and customs authorities to ensure seamless operations.Documentation & Compliance:Prepare and verify all shipping and customs documentation.Maintain up-to-date records of shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and legal standards.Problem Solving:Resolve operational issues proactively to minimize delays or disruptions.Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.Key Requirements: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in road and air freight forwarding with a focus on express groupage/consolidation.Proven experience in customs clearance, including hands-on AIS operations.Strong understanding of customs regulations, duties, and taxes.Familiarity with incoterms and international freight documentation.Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing customer relationships.Proficient in freight forwarding and customs software.Good command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Terms:
