Eyecare Packaging Senior Manager

Job Description The Senior Packaging Manager is responsible for overseeing the packaging process in the AbbVie Westport manufacturing facility.
The senior manager is responsible for ensuring that all packaging meets quality standards and is completed on time and within budget.
The senior manager is responsible for managing the packaging team and working closely with other departments to ensure all products are packaged correctly.
  Responsibilities : • Develop and implement packaging processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
• Manage the packaging team, including hiring and evaluating employees.
• Meet with other departments to coordinate packaging schedules and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Ensure that packaging meets quality standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications and standards.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee the maintenance of packaging equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
  Qualifications • Diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing • 5+ years of experience in packaging management.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for packaging.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
