Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to lead the repair of equipment, machinery, and plant. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure their optimal functioning and longevity. You will coordinate Facilities work orders, including routine planned, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks, and respond to emergency breakdowns across the site, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures, taking prompt action to mitigate risks and minimize downtime. Additionally, you will monitor and respond to Building Management System (BMS) alarms, provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians, and ensure documentation of maintenance activities meets applicable standards, such as cGMP.
You will manage overall facility planning, ensure control and maintenance of the site Layout and Services Drawings, and liaise with and manage external vendors and project teams to ensure positive outcomes. This position will work with operations to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively and lead initiatives to ensure sustainable results. You will coordinate and prioritize the combined activities of cross-functional teams by providing direction and guidance.
Key technical requirements include knowledge of Compressed Air, chillers, Reverse osmosis, sanitary hot water, vacuum pumps, HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, sprinkler systems, waste systems, and working knowledge of pumps, motors, Fire Alarm, Gas Detection, CCTV, and Access Control water systems.
