PM Group has an opportunity for an experienced Facilities Engineer for our leading client based in the Wexford region. Responsibilities Main responsibilities will include: Responsible for projects, vendor inquires and troubleshooting of facilities and utilities systems and identify/implement continuous process improvement initiatives. Participate on capital project teams through all phases of projects. Participate in efficiency and streamlining projects which contribute to site initiatives and contribute to increased safety. Installation and maintenance of new, modified, or existing equipment to manufacturing areas, offices and plant facilities as needed. Assist with Facilities projects, and monitor expenditure where necessary. Manage routine installation/maintenance, breakdown repairs of Heating, Ventilating, Air conditioning and Chilled water systems (Including Humidification and dehumidification equipment) Building management control systems and compressed air systems. Liaise with dept managers / area leads for the implementation of works with minimal disruption. Comply with all quality control measures and ensure all records and reports are correctly maintained and available, as needed. Assist with Facilities projects, and monitor budgetary requirements where necessary. Be an active member of the Department's sustainability Team Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance where required. Be available for on-call support during project and shutdown activities. Support EHS personnel to ensure that all regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety are followed and supported Qualifications Experience & Skills: 5 years plus relevant experience working within a facilities role. Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in Engineering. Have excellent communication / organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation from project teams to site leadership team. Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation. Strong computer MS Office skills. Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices. Why PM Group?
