Our Facilities team are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for providing engineering support, troubleshooting, & subject matter expertise for the site.
Where you come in: Tender and appoint contractors for the supply of services, plant and equipment, installation or service work for production operations, such that they contain appropriate technical specifications, are delivered as required, and represent value for money.You will assist in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.You will support QA Validation by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution.You will take a leading role in the development of asset management program/strategy.Lead an engineering/technician team to deliverImplement corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.Supervise mechanical and electrical contractors.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.Conduct troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.Ensure that an out-of-hours engineering support system is in place and support vendors are up to speed on site systems.You will support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.You will provide support to manufacturing and maintenance where required.You will take responsibility for operational and monitoring of central support utilities including Water/HVAC/Compressed Air/Special Gases/Refrigeration Systems/BMS/EMS/Chilled Water/Humidifiers/DI Water.You will maintain company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.Provide technical expertise during regulatory audits.What makes you successful: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of related experience.Experience of leading and managing multi-skilled technicians and support engineers in the manufacturing environment, to include performance management, objective setting, coaching/mentoring, development, and prioritization.Experience managing technical capital projects.You have proven experience of cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and/or controls.You have knowledge and experience of ISO ISO14001, ISO50001, ISO55000.You have exposure to facilities equipment best-practice maintenance including CMMS and RCM. You have experience in Continuous Improvement and lean techniques.You have excellent communication/organization skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization from project teams to site leadership team.You have applicable knowledge of the CAPA process.What you'll get: A front row seat to life-changing CGM technology.
