Factory Operative

Job Title: Factory Operative Team: Operations Reports to: Production Manager Responsibilities The specific areas and main responsibilities of the role.
Packing produce Measuring, grading and feeding batches of raw materials into production machinery Operating, tending and cleaning machines as well as assembling the finished product for storage Loading and unloading items from machines, boxes, production lines, pallets etc Maintain a clean and safe working environment Food Safety /Quality Ensure cleaning in between and at tend of run is completed effectively Ensure correct product is in the bag as labelled Ensure SOPs relating to the role are carried out to the required standard of food safety quality and legality Ensure weight checks are completed, and any discrepancies highlighted to your line manager Maintain and clean as you go to reduce any hazards both relating to food safety and health and safety Skills: Packing Goods Packing Food hygiene rules Pack Goods
