Fideuram is among the key private banking players in Italy. It ranks first among the financial advisory networks in Italy, fourth in terms of Private Banking, and sixth among traditional banks.
Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland) dac (FAMI), established in 2001, is a UCITS management company belonging to Fideuram Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Group. FAMI currently manages approximately €42 billion worth of assets with over 160 sub-funds and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
Reporting to the Head of Global Equity & Quant Solutions, the resource will contribute to identifying investment opportunities consistent with the desk's investment process, focusing mostly on the USA market, which is the primary regional focus of the portfolios managed by the desk.
The desk's research process is fully internalized and built upon a strong analytical framework; therefore, the resource is expected to conduct equity research independently while coordinating with other team members. Candidates must demonstrate substantial prior experience in independently producing high-quality research.
Depending on the academic background and skills demonstrated, the resource may be involved in quantitative research projects aimed at refining the investment process and improving related IT tools. The desk has developed an internal software library in Python, which supports the efficient and timely execution of the investment process. A good knowledge of Python or other programming languages constitutes a strong plus.
Required ExperienceRequired Qualifications, Skills and KnowledgeExtensive knowledge of corporate finance, equity valuation, and factor investing.Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality equity research independently.Very good knowledge of the USA equity investible universe and the Technology sector.Genuine interest in scientific/academic research.At least a BSc degree in economic or scientific disciplines, with an excellent academic track record; proficiency in written and spoken English.Knowledge of the Python programming language constitutes a strong plus.A MSc in economics or related fields is a plus.A basic knowledge of Italian constitutes a plus.Everyone is an asset for our Group and that person could be you!
