Field Service Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Field Service Engineer to join an expanding company based in Cork who are a market leader in the Process Equipment & Engineering Solutions industry. This role requires flexibility in terms of travel and client sites and will require overnight stays for certain client site visits (nationwide).
Role Responsibilities: In-house service assembly/overhaul/test of product portfolio sold with a focus on valve related items.The role will consist of a mix of work both in the workshop and on customer sites including overnight stays.Troubleshooting and repair of customer products and providing accurate repair reports.Operation of company related equipment such as Forklifts, Tools & Testing equipment.The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility for meeting related workshop schedules in coordination with company requirements.Ensure that the appropriate safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment are adhered to.The Field Service Engineer will have responsibility of upkeep/maintenance of workshop – Including company Tools, Equipment & Assets.Adherence to companies ISO 9001:2015 Quality, and Health & Safety procedures.Role Requirements: Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic engineering academic &/or trade qualification.Related industry work experience in repair.Role does require travel in Ireland & overnight stays on occasion.Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Barry O'Brien. ****** (021) 491 1060
