Field Service Engineer Manufacturing

Field Service Engineer Manufacturing Our client is one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the Dairy, Beverage and other industries, currently recruiting a Service Technician.

The main area of work will be within the Beverage, Dairy & Pharmaceutical sectors servicing various mechanical equipment within Manufacturing environments. This is a Field service role, working with Clients based in Dublin.

The Person: The ideal candidate should have a trade or 3rd level qualification with past experience in mechanical maintenance activities. Ability to read and understand plant documentation. Should have formal H&S training & experience of typical maintenance H&S requirements (RAMS, LOTO). Must have a full driver's licence and be willing to travel, primarily in Ireland. The candidate will work on projects that necessitate overnights away from home. Proficient in Office software – Word & Excel. The following would be an advantage: Good knowledge of liquid processing equipment (valves / pumps). Knowledge of High Pressure Pumps (HPP). Knowledge of Homogenisers. Knowledge of filter plants. Basic electrical / instrumentation knowledge. Skills And Characteristics: Trade or 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline. Ability to communicate well with others under time pressure. Can manage information and documentation effectively. Ability to work as part of a team but also as an individual when required. Be able to liaise with customers in a professional manner. Self-starter. Hardworking and flexible.
