Field Service Engineer Manufacturing

Field Service Engineer Manufacturing Our client is one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the Dairy, Beverage and other industries, currently recruiting a Service Technician.

The main area of work will be within the Beverage, Dairy & Pharmaceutical sectors servicing various mechanical equipment within Manufacturing environments. This is a Field Service role, working with Clients based in Dublin.

The Person: The ideal candidate should have a trade or 3rd level qualification with past experience in mechanical maintenance activities. Ability to read and understand plant documentation. Should have formal H&S training & experience of typical maintenance H&S requirements (RAMS, LOTO). Must have a full driver's licence and be willing to travel, primarily in Ireland. The candidate will work on projects that necessitate overnights away from home. Proficient in Office software – Word & Excel. The following would be an advantage: Good knowledge of liquid processing equipment (valves / pumps). Knowledge of High Pressure Pumps (HPP). Knowledge of Homogenisers. Knowledge of filter plants. Basic electrical / instrumentation knowledge. Skills And Characteristics Trade or 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline. Ability to communicate well with others under time pressure. Can manage information and documentation effectively. Ability to work as part of a team but also as an individual when required. Be able to liaise with customers in a professional manner. Self-starter. Hardworking and flexible.
