FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER Southern Ireland €48-60,000 + company bonus, staying away bonus, commercial vehicle/car allowance, healthcare, pension The Role One of the UK's leading suppliers of highly complex, pharmaceutical process equipment is now recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their busy and expanding field service engineering team in Ireland.
As the Field Service Engineer, you will be required to travel to customer sites in the pharmaceutical and life-sciences field, carrying out repair and maintenance on a diverse range of technologies including water treatment plants, pure steam generators, autoclaves/sterilisers, RO systems, WFIs etc.
Training and progression Training is provided presenting an excellent opportunity for engineers with transferable skills to break into the much sought after pharmaceutical field.
This organisation demonstrates a track record of developing engineers and supporting them through various progression routes including skill development into new areas with exposure on new equipment, supervisory and man management responsibilities, role diversity in undertaking other technical positions such as Project Engineers and Project Management.

Travel As a UK&I Field Service Engineer you will be expected to travel throughout Ireland and the UK as and when required.
This will mean regular staying away from home Monday to Friday.
However, this employer endeavours to protect the wellbeing and work-life balance of their engineers and so weekends are protected and engineer utilisation is kept to 70% ensuring that 30% of your time you will be on leave, working from home or doing training.
Work Pattern Hours are Monday to Friday, 44hrs in a week including travel.
Should you exceed these hours, over time is paid.
No weekend working.

Experience maintaining and repairing large, automated, PLC driven equipment Multi-skilled with strong electrical fault finding abilities Flexibility to travel and stay away from home as required Industries of interest include g. pharmaceutical, food and beverage (F&B), oil and gas (O&G), biotechnology, medical device, printing, packaging, FMCG, water treatment, sterilisation or decontamination, or ex-military engineers (Navy, RAF, Army Engineers) What happens next?
