The role will involve installing and ongoing maintenance of Xerox Production equipment at customer sites in order to meet customer requirements and SLA targets. This includes installation and support of related front ends, e.g. Freeflow and EFI print controllers (and associated software). The person will strive to achieve a targeted level of service performance across the given product range working within the PSG engineer teams in Ireland. This role may involve travel for training and work purposes.
Education and Experience:A successful proven track record and experience servicing Colour or Mono equipment.Experience of Freeflow and/or EFI controllers, and software support on associated software.Proven experience in dealing with customers at all levels within different sectors.Experience of servicing electronic or mechanical devices.Candidates must have the ability to interact well at all levels within Xerox.To effectively manage Xerox Assets e.g. cost of spares to achieve Xerox Company Goals.To apply Quality principles and tools to problem solving and process improvement to achieve job role objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective listening skills are essential.Effective negotiation skills with the ability to handle difficult customer situations.High level of organisational skills.Flexible and able to cope under pressure.Ability to work on own initiative.A self-starter highly motivated with a continuous improvement focus.A fast learner, open to new ideas and an ability to engage fully with all business operations.Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines.Ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team.Ability to use and function email and service systems.Must have a clean Full driving licence.
