Field Service Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Our clients, a world leader in automated packaging machinery serving a range of industries, are looking to recruit an experienced field-based Maintenance Technician to join their engineering team.

Comprehensive training on the full range of company equipment will be provided.
The Role: You will provide a full range of technical support services to customers, including installation, service, repair, overhaul, upgrade, modification, and training.
These customers are based throughout Ireland, so there will be a significant amount of travel involved, as well as some nights away.
The Person: Ideally, you will have served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and possess relevant qualifications.A background in the service and maintenance of manufacturing equipment is essential.Good mechanical aptitude and detailed knowledge of electrical fault-finding are required.Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings is necessary.Experience and knowledge of packaging machinery (specifically IPC, PC and MC controls, and Servo and AC drives) are preferred.Experience in robotic systems or thermoforming would be a significant advantage.A self-motivated and conscientious individual dedicated to delivering first-class customer service.You should be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.Flexibility towards working hours is key, as you will be required to work occasional weekends, early starts, and late finishes.A full driving licence is required, as the role comes with an expensed company car.
