Job Title: Finance business partner – Lipton Soft Drinks International Location: Cork – United Kingdom JOB PURPOSE The Cork finance BP is responsible for providing financial business partnering, accounting & controllership support for our Pepsi Lipton tea kits factory in Cork, and the Lipton Soft Drinks International legal entity.
Cork factory is the supplier of tea kits for the global market, which is key for our ready to drink tea portfolio within Pepsi Lipton Joint Venture.
The industrial Finance business partner role is a great opportunity to further develop in three crucial parts of any finance position: financial accounting/controlling, business partnering and FP&A.
As a factory BP you are part of the factory leadership team, where you provide decision-making support.
Being the finance partner on site you are also responsible for ensuring you have good control on the factory balance sheet and budget, as well as ensuring all required controls for the site and financial reporting are performed in compliance.
Further, the job scope includes delivering in-year performance, providing forecast updates and presenting the results to the main stakeholders in the site, Pepsi Lipton International as well as central team in Rotterdam.
The Finance BP is part of the finance network team with other nutrition factory BPs across Europe, and reports into the Finance make network lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES Budget Planning, Forecasting, cost governance & Month End ActivitiesBusiness partnering Factory Leadership Team to drive site performance and support decision-makingResponsible to ensure site controls are executed (inventories, purchase process, IFRS 16, balance sheet etc)Responsible for projects governance and delivery of in-year financial performance (costs/capex/waste), final creation and submission of site forecast & annual business planEngagement with PLI (finance) on pricing, forecast and settlementsParticipate in central projects to build finance capabilities for other sites of the cluster/networkThe following activities are part of the current scope, but will significantly change once Cork will be onboarded into the UEBV model and SAP implementation, anticipated in Q3 2025:
Statutory reporting and audit supportManual journals correcting for P&L and balance sheet items (revenue, cash position etc.)
