About You You are a qualified finance professional (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with a proven track record of providing strategic and commercial support to senior management.
With extensive experience in either start-ups or SMEs, you excel in delivering high standards in fast-paced, complex environments.

Responsibilities Finance Management Drive the seamless operation of the finance function, ensuring robust financial practices are upheld.
Monitor, manage, and optimize cash flow, identifying areas for improvement.
Embed sound financial practices fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility.
Oversee the preparation and approval of monthly and year-end accounts.
Compare sales and profit projections with actual outcomes, making necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
Prepare and present comprehensive monthly management accounts.
Develop and manage budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
Coordinate financial audits, liaising with external auditors and addressing audit findings.
Finance Strategy Serve as a key advisor on all financial and budgetary matters, influencing long-term business decisions.
Continuously monitor and analyse the company's financial performance, initiating corrective actions to minimise variances.
Develop pricing strategies and the formulation of sound financial strategies.
Implement and oversee internal controls to safeguard the company's financial health.
Advise on long-term financial planning, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Evaluate business operations to identify opportunities for reorganization, downsizing, or elimination to improve efficiency.
Systems and Processes Selection and implement a new financial management system to support business needs.
Develop financial policies and procedures that ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance.
Skills and Experience ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant.
Management accounting experience within SMEs.
Strong IT skills with understanding of finance software and tools for financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in an accessible manner.
Strong strategic thinking capabilities, with a proven ability to align financial strategies with overarching business goals.
