The main focus of the role of the Snr Finance Business Partner is to drive improved commercial performance and support Account Directors and Client Handlers in the needs of their clients and our business.
The Primary Responsibilities for this Role are: Developing & coaching Client handlers in financial tools and techniques that will drive better commercial results.Preparing and reviewing client budgets.Developing costing models for New Business proposals.Forecasting for business and clients.Client profitability/client contribution ratio analysis.Partnering with our Client Handlers to build the link between operational KPI performance and financial account profitability.Supporting the Senior Management team in the drafting, development, implementation, and monitoring of a multi-year growth strategy.Leading on new business financials.Revenue recognition – month-end function.Ad hoc variance analysis.Other aspects of the role: Financial planning for the business including variance analysis and commentary.Monthly Management accounts preparation.Audit liaison for annual statutory audit and internal audit.Required Experience & Competencies: Fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.Minimum 5 years' post-qualified experience, preferably in a commercial role.Experience in working with a shared service environment desirable but not essential.Ability to combine commercial understanding with financial technical knowledge to support client requirements within financial regulations essential.Ability to work to tight deadlines.Strong experience of Microsoft Office tools.Strong systems knowledge – experience in PeopleSoft an advantage but not required.Person Specifications: Essential: A digital mindset (A person with a digital mindset applies technology to become more efficient and collaborative - someone who is relentlessly curious, questions the status quo, and doesn't limit themselves to the job scope).Ability to operate and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Strong communication skills.Initiative and ability to perform independently and without direct supervision.Analytical skills - ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.Problem-solving skills.Strong relationship skills.Active Listening.Attention to detail.Effective time management and organisation skills.Commitment to customer satisfaction and project success.Desirable: Insights, data and excel analysis.Forward thinking and trend setter.Sales skills relevant to the marketing industry.Retail execution knowledge and Field Marketing execution strategy experience.Communication Skills: Ability to communicate with people from all levels within an organisation.Ability to verbally express oneself clearly.Ability to partner with and develop financial acumen within finance and non-finance colleagues.Benefits: Flexible Hybrid working conditions.EAP Programme.TaxSaver.Bike to Work.Maternity & Fertility support Program.Company Management development program.
