We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join our Finance Division in our Head Office in Dublin 15. This full time, permanent role would be ideally suited for an ambitious Finance Manager who is looking to join a strong team at an exciting point for our company as we seek to ensure it has the necessary finance structure, procedures and systems in place to support the business's continued growth (>25% y-o-y). This role offers the right candidate a great opportunity to progress in their finance career.
This is a fast paced, broad finance role where you will have the opportunity to get exposure to all areas of the finance function. The Finance Manager role will play a crucial part in improving procedures, developing the wider Finance Team and implementing a new ERP system.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As mentioned above, this is a broad Finance role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on more tasks once the below key deliverables are completed.
Assist the Head of Finance with month end gross margin reporting, across both the FM & Project Divisions, highlighting any trends to the relevant Commercial TeamsReview of balance sheet reconciliations, full review of business overheads, including detailed commentary on variance analysis and developing key performance indicatorsSupporting the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgetsWork with the Head of Finance on Board packs and any group reporting requestsWork with the Finance & IT Project Team on the required training, testing and planned implementation of the new ERP system, which is scheduled to go live in January 2025Manage the AP Team of four, work to improve the AP processes, ensure KPI's are met and mentor the teamContribute to the Finance functions goal of improving the quality of financial analysis provided to the business and wider Sisk GroupLead in the preparation of the annual audit file, liaise with the auditors to ensure the audit is completed in a timely mannerEnsure statutory tax returns and other statistical data submissions are completed diligently and filed timelyProvide Finance support and cover for our Midwest DivisionOther ad hoc requests as requiredQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE: A minimum of 3 years' post qualification experience working within the industryExperience managing staffConstruction or Project Accounting experience is advantageous but not essentialExperience implementing a new system or processes would also be a bonus, but again not essentialExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office with proven experience of using accountancy softwareEnergetic and driven while detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong understanding of FM/Building (Mechanical & Electrical) services is an advantage
