And all of this from a modest handwaving mill, established in a rural Irish village in 1723.
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for our Mill.
This is a full-time role, reporting to the Finance Director of Avoca and supporting the management team in the Mill.
The Role: Manage and develop the finance function for the Mill business Provide timely and accurate financial information for month end, annual plan, forecast and any financial information required for making business decisions Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasts Management of accounts assistant Ensure the integrity of all financial information provided Ensure that all routine processing and reporting are completed in an accurate and timely manner Development and preparation of KPI reports for monthly management meetings, including variance analysis and commentary Responsibility for provision of annual budget Providing information and analysis to management for decision making and reporting Liaising with auditors for the annual audit process Ensure all statutory reporting requirements are met Financial Support on product costing for existing and new business Key Competencies: Problem solver.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work with cross functional teams.
Pro-active, hands-on in approach, be able to work independently.
Skills and Experience: Finalist or recently qualified with strong technical knowledge Strong written communication and reporting with ability to communicate to stakeholders across various levels and functions.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment an advantage Self-motivated, proactive, ability to ensure tasks are finalised to strict deadlines.
An ability to work on own initiative, to deadlines, within a team environment.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement.
Strong MS Excel skills.
This full-time role is based in our Head Office in Kilmacanogue, Bray, Co Wicklow with travel to the Mill weekly.
Salary 65k plus benefits.
