An esteemed educational institution is seeking a highly skilled Finance Partner to join their Academic Services Division on a temporary basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic financial planning and operational excellence of the division. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain an annual budget and multi-annual financial plan for specific units within the Academic Services Division.Provide accurate and relevant financial information to management teams for strategic decision-making.Prepare and present periodic financial forecasts and analyses, including trend and variance analysis.Support the preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets, and assist in addressing financial variances.Implement processes and procedures to ensure financial control and minimise financial risk.Contribute to financial forecasting and modelling to identify new income sources.Liaise continuously with the Financial Services Division on both strategic and operational levels.Key Skills and Requirements Qualifications:Professional accounting qualification, with membership of an accounting body recognised in Ireland (essential).Experience:Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification accountancy experience at a management level in a similar scale organisation.Substantial experience in financial planning, risk management, and budget management.Proven experience in financial and quantitative analysis, including report writing and data collation.Skills:Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial information systems.Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to relate financial concepts to non-financial personnel.Ability to work flexibly, multitask, and prioritise in a complex and busy environment.Salary: €68k - €88k. Hybrid work options available.
