Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant for our Finance & Performance team.
The role involves transforming the finance function from a supporting role to a business partner, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and improving decision-making.
You will be a key member of client service teams helping our clients to drive their business strategy, while ensuring they are connected across all functions.

About the role: Support & deliver finance transformation projects, ensuring deliverables are produced in a timely manner and are of the required quality.
Ability to interpret regulations, describing the impact of regulations on the business and supporting strategic change to accommodate new regulations.
Analyse complex financial data and design innovative data-driven solutions in a complex environment.
Define and implement Finance Target Operating Models, including Finance process and controls design.
Support the design of Finance IT architecture, including functional support in defining requirements, designing, building, and testing components of the finance architecture.
Develop external vendor relationships, acting as the conduit between vendors and client teams, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Develop quality relationships with clients and throughout the Global Deloitte network, becoming a trusted advisor.
About you: Strong Financial Services knowledge, including an understanding of the regulatory environment across Banking & Insurance sectors.
Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or other accounting qualification, and a strong academic record.
Strong knowledge of finance processes and controls within a Banking & Insurance environment; Management Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Close Process, AP / AR, Statutory Reporting.
Proven experience in Financial & Regulatory Reporting including technical knowledge of IFRS reporting and Reporting outputs covering Prudential and Statistical Reporting.
Proficiency in IT systems and the key technology platforms used within Banking & Insurance, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical leads to deliver successful project outcomes.
Demonstrated experience of successfully managing projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget.
Prior Consulting experience in Finance Transformation or active roles in Finance Transformation projects in the FS industry.
Proven track record of applying knowledge and technical skills in a practical and commercial way helping to make an impact.
