We are currently looking to recruit a Finance & Planning Intern to join our team in Oola, Co Limerick starting in March 2025 How can you make a difference?
Working as part of the UK & Ireland regional service team, the finance and planning Intern is responsible to assist with an accurate overview and forecast of the UK/IE regional finances within the service department, creating ongoing transparency of the current financial status and regional risks and opportunities What will you be doing?
Key responsibilities for this role include: • Supporting the service team to deliver annual financial targets, using clear financial tools & Analysis• Assisting with "look ahead reviews" to identify financial risks• Assisting with the forecasting process to gain visibility by wind farm, and understand key financial levers• Supporting with the preparation on the annual budget process for the service team• Supporting with the collation of monthly financial data for review, working closely with the finance team to suggest improvements• Assisting the finance team to ensure all costs are forecast, provisioned and reconciled and working closely with the finance team to ensure they meet audit requirements• Assisting with the creation of target orientated regular financial reports and processes• Monitoring, regularly updating and reporting of the financial forecasts for the region service department• Assisting with the monitoring of revenues and costs for the regional service department• Assisting with Monitoring of open purchase order status and process and CAPEX processes• Development and implementation of Job cost estimator tool/process What are we looking for?
This position is an internship position from March 2025 to the end of the summer 2025.
The successful candidate will be undertaking a Degree level qualification in Business, Finance or a related subject with some job related experience.
You will have excellent communication skills and have a positive can do attitude with an appetite to learn and develop.
You will have excellent IT skills and have strong Excel, SQL and PowerBI skills Other attributes required for this role include: • Strong relationship building skills• Excellent team working and collaboration skills• Excellent planning & organisation skills• Ability to work under pressure • A strong focus on the customer• Problem solving and decision making • Good understanding of financial KPIs and P&L Recruitment Process The closing date for this role is 29th January 2025, however, please be aware that this role could close early if we receive an overwhelming response.
