The Job: As a key part of the team & reporting directly to the FC with a dotted line to the CFO, your duties will focus on the preparation of monthly & annual management accounts as well as supporting business unit managers with their departmental finance needs & projects.
More specifically, you will manage the month-end close processes, complete P&L reviews, prepare complex balance sheet & cash flow forecasts, take ownership of departmental annual budgets, implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead project teams (including for capital spend projects), & provide financial advice & guidance to operations management teams across the business.
Your Skills/Experience that we need: 3rd level degree qualified.Fully qualified accountant.2-3+ years industry experience, with experience gained in a multinational manufacturing environment being a significant advantage.Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.Proven ability to work on your own initiative & manage projects.The Offer: This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits & overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications & career experience, but expected to range to approximately 65k. In addition, there will be an excellent benefits package including pension & healthcare contributions, annual bonus, educational assistance & others.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in the office in Shannon with 2 days working from home/remote, so it could suit candidates based in Co. Galway or the Oranmore/east side of Galway city.
