DescriptionWe are recruiting a Financial Accountant for a BDO client, a global F&B company. This is a short term contract opportunity starting immediately running until December/January.Fully qualified ACCA. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory financial statements in line with local requirements.Maintain all ledgers ensuring information is updated in a timely and accurate manner.Develop & maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders in the wider finance function.Proactively identify, rectify and follow-up on local accounting issues arising.Ensure adherence to controls and a robust controls culture along with streamlining to make more efficient. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertisePrepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. Assist with audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements.
