Financial Accountant

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a leading company on one of their largest investments.
Due to progression within the team, they are now inviting a qualified accounting professional to join their high-calibre finance team as a Financial Accountant.

This is a broad accounting position and the ideal next step for a financial accountant looking to progress.
The opportunity will allow exposure to financial reporting, analysis, and projects with plenty of progression opportunities.

ABOUT THE ROLE: Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Accounts preparation for multiple entities across the group; Responsible for statutory reporting for the Irish and UK entities; Prepare monthly management reports; Co-ordinate and facilitate the external audit; Analyse technical accounting matters; Identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies in current processes; Ad-hoc projects as they arise. ABOUT THE PERSON: Recently qualified accounting professional (ACA, ACCA or equivalent); Must be Big 4 trained with 1-3 years PQE and industry experience; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Self-starter with the ability to prioritise deadlines; Strong technical ability and good attention to detail; Office based in South Dublin, with hybrid working in place.
