Financial Accountant

Oliver James is currently keen to speak with newly qualified financial accountants with an interest in the insurance and reinsurance field.
We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader within the space who are eager to speak with strong financial accountants.

This exciting role will work in a multinational group environment.
The role will have a particular focus on a major international segment of the company and will involve extensive interaction with finance and management functions at both Group Head Office and segment level.

Key Responsibilities; Assisting with the delivery of the quarterly group reporting submissions to Head Office.Preparing commentaries which analyse the key drivers of results.Assisting with the delivery of monthly investment reporting through the group investment management system.Assisting with the preparation of the annual financial plan and quarterly re forecast projections.Liaising with external and internal auditors on deliverables and queries.Who You Are; Newly qualified accountant.Strong technical accounting skills - broad and detailed knowledge of the IFRS reporting standards (with exposure to IFRS 17 a distinct advantage).Enthusiasm for technical/analytical work, and strong attention to detail
