Financial Accountant

Compensation:€70-80k basic plus bonus, healthcare
I'm working with a highly acquisitive leading global insurance company to recruit a Financial Accountant. You will be joining a large and high performing finance team in Dublin. Candidate will need to have an insurance background/insurance trained in Big 4. 0-4 years PQE. Initial 12-month contract with strong scope to go beyond.
ResponsibilitiesPreparation of the quarterly group reporting submissions to Head OfficeAssisting with the annual financial plan and quarterly reforecast projectionsAssisting with the delivery of monthly investment reportingEnsuring the accuracy of all journal entriesPreparation of the annual IFRS financial statementsLiaising with external and internal auditorsAssisting with projects as they arise and providing ad-hoc assistanceRequirementsQualified Accountant – 0-4 years PQEInsurance background is a mustStrong IFRS/technical accounting skillsGroup consolidations experience an advantageTeam playerDue to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
