The Job: As a key part of the team and reporting directly to the FC with a dotted line to the CFO, your duties will be focused on the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts as well as supporting business unit managers with their departmental finance needs and projects.
More specifically, you will manage the month-end close processes, complete P&L reviews, prepare complex balance sheet and cash flow forecasts, take ownership of departmental annual budgets, implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead project teams (including for capital spend projects), and provide financial advice and guidance to operations management teams across the business.
Your Skills/Experience that we need: 3rd level degree qualified.Fully qualified accountant.2-3+ years industry experience, with experience gained in a multinational manufacturing type of environment a significant advantage.Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.Experience/knowledge in using ERP systems would be an advantage.Proven ability to work on your own initiative and manage projects.The Offer: This job is being offered on a permanent basis with salary, benefits, and overall package flexible depending on candidate qualifications and career experience but expected to range to approximately €65k. In addition, there will be an excellent benefits package including pension and healthcare contributions, annual bonus, educational assistance, and others.
This role will be a hybrid mix of 3 days in office in Shannon with 2 days working from home/remote.
