Financial Accountant- Part-Time 3 Days A Week

Financial Accountant role - Based in Rathcoole Can be 5 Mornings a Week or 3 days Per week Office Based The successful incumbent will work closely with, and report to, the Financial Controller.
Candidates should be qualified accountants with 3-5 years post qualification commercial and accounts work experience.
Applicants returning to the workforce after a career break are welcomed Part time role - 3 full days or 5 mornings per week Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience Requirements Qualified ACA/FCA/ACCA/CIMA 3-5 years post qualification commercial and accounts experience Payroll experience (Sage an advantage) Proficient in MS Excel and accounting packages Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong verbal and written communication skills Mature, reliable & hard-working Pro-active, attention to detail & good organisational skills Key Responsibilities Assistance with monthly management accounts (with journals & balance sheet reconciliations) Fixed Asset Register Maintenance Overseeing Debtors & liaising with Credit Controller Preparation/submission of monthly Vies & Intrastat returns Monthly VAT reconciliation & preparation of Annual VAT return Supplier payments approve supplier invoices/expense claim forms Weekly check of payroll before bank transfer approved Notifying Insurers of changes to company vehicle fleet Assistance with annual audit file preparation Assistance with annual Insurance renewal declarations CSO Surveys Other ad hoc duties that arise
