Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation of annual financial budgets and forecasts.Support all functions of the finance department as needed.Collaborate with the team to produce time-sensitive financial reports and ensure timely submission to relevant departments.Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.Maintain strong relationships and communication with external auditors, funders, and stakeholders.Support the Finance Team with monthly and day-to-day finance tasks, including the month-end close process.Assist in managing the Finance office's daily operations, including implementing updates, changes, and improvements.Contribute to the strategic development of the Finance Department.Requirements:At least 5 years of experience in an accounting or book-keeping role.Experience in the voluntary sector is preferable but not essential.ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification is desired but not essential.Confident self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative.Advanced Excel and IT skills, including a strong working knowledge of Office 365.Familiarity with accounting software is essential.Experience operating payroll systems is advantageous.Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across a multidisciplinary organisation.
