Financial Controller

We are working with a prestigious hotel group who are looking for a financial controller to join their team. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations alongside preparing financial reports, management accounts and leading a 4 person team. The hotel are known for having strong customer service, and are looking for an ambitious and professional individual who can continue the high-levels of professionalism and customer focus within the finance team. You will be responsible for: Managing the financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting Supervising and reviewing AP, AR, Payroll & Cash. Preparing monthly management accounts, including Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Leading a team of 4 people. The ideal candidate will have: An accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent 6+ years working in the finance function of a hospitality business, or a similar industry Experience leading a team This role will require the successful candidate to be on-site at the Laois based hotel for 5 days a week for the first 6 months as you get up to speed in the role.
