Key users of the product are, of course, the customer and the employee but also in-country partners (payroll, benefits, etc) and Boundless payroll and HR teams.
Role Overview: The Financial Controller is a key hire for Boundless as we look to modernise & scale our finance operations.
In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the company is positioned for sustainable growth, while maintaining impeccable financial records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards across all entities, enforcing controls and safeguarding company assets Ensure compliance with all local tax & reporting obligations, leading audits as required Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury activities Prepare reports for management, shareholders, and external stakeholders as needed Support the CFO during the annual budgeting process in setting financial targets and monitoring performance against the budget Manage the relationship with the outsourced finance team, aligning on priorities and holding the team accountable to deliverables  Design a new finance function through a combination of external and internal resources which delivers a smarter and more efficient way of working & leading to a culture of continuous improvement Requirements The Ideal Candidate Will Have:  Accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in international accounting and finance Knowledge and hands-on experience of managing transfer pricing issues  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Strategic thinker with exceptional execution skills Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Nice to Have:  Strong financial modelling skills  Experience with treasury mgt.
strategies on hedging and investing Past experience of managing outsourced finance teams Implemented or supported the implementation of new finance systems eg.

We work a standard 8-hour day but operate core hours from 10.00-15.00 Dublin time, where you are expected to be contactable - leaving you to fit in the remaining 3 hours whenever works best for you.  Location Flexibility - We employ people all over the world, and you're free to work from any of the countries where Boundless supports employment.
You will also have the ability to embrace working holidays from other countries, where role-specific obligations allow for it, and within parameters of employment compliance.
WFH/Co-work Stipends - We contribute to the costs of home-working or will provide you with a budget so that you work from a co-working space if you prefer not to work from home.
