We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our senior leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and make a significant impact on the financial and operational aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the Managing Director and play an integral role in the leadership team.Financial Reporting: Work with our external accounts team to prepare and analyse financial statements, providing recommendations to the Managing Director to improve financial performance, efficiency, and profitability.Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, as well as periodic forecasting, to support effective financial planning and decision-making.Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing insights to support strategic initiatives.Cashflow Management: Develop and manage cashflow statements to ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and strategic investments.Operational Tasks: Manage operational tasks such as hiring, onboarding, lease management to ensure smooth business operations. Act as a key touchpoint for payroll internally and provide instruction to our external payroll provider.Financial Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls and financial procedures across the business to enhance financial management and compliance.Tax Compliance: Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and other relevant taxes, collaborating with external tax advisors when necessary.Communication Skills: Effectively communicate financial information, including cashflow projections and reports, to non-financial team members in a clear and understandable manner.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with non-financial teams to support their financial needs and provide guidance on financial matters.Audit Preparation: Prepare for and manage external audits, working closely with our external accounts team and auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange, interest rate fluctuations, and market volatility.Financial Strategy: Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy.Qualifications and Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).2+ years' experience working as a Financial Controller in an owner-managed company is preferred.Proven ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial personnel.Energetic, enthusiastic with a "can-do" attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.How to Apply: If you meet the qualifications and are excited about the opportunity to join our team as a Financial Controller, please submit your resume and cover letter to ******.
