Join us as a Financial Planning Manager This role is responsible for completing, submitting, and tracking the 3 Ireland annual budget and forecasts. It involves coordinating the forecasting and budgeting process, briefing executives on financial outlook versus the budget and 5-year plan, and scenario planning. You are expected to present clearly and provide insights. Additionally, the role manages Three's Investment Review Board.
What else it involves: Collaborate with business and finance partners to align with strategic objectives and direction.Develop and manage comprehensive forecasting models, incorporating data from all business units. Enhance and maintain the 5-year strategic plan.Ensure departmental submissions are aligned with the overall strategic plan and identify necessary corrective actions.Support the Payroll Analyst in developing a detailed bottom-up payroll model.Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes to meet group deadlines.Analyze budget data with departments and the Deputy CFO to communicate a coherent financial narrative to senior management and the group.Present financial outlooks to the CFO, CEO, and Executive Leadership Team during budget and forecast stages.Coordinate submissions with Hong Kong and complete all requisite documentation.Communicate any challenges requiring attention following budget submissions.Throughout the fiscal year, monitor, assess, and report on progress against the strategic plan to ensure financial objectives are met and recommend corrective actions when necessary.Collaborate with Finance partners to evaluate the success of operational business plans and initiatives, using KPIs to identify challenges and regularly share insights with stakeholders.Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations that summarize ongoing KPIs in relation to the budget, as well as forecast and budget submissions to the CFO, ELT, and Group.Develop various scenario models to analyse the impact of different strategies on budgets and provide insights and recommendations.Maintain and update business and financial models to support decision-making processes and coordinate the forecasting process.Identify and track significant business trends and variances, alerting senior leadership to issues and driving corrective action.Participate in ad-hoc projects to assess their budgetary and strategic impact on the company's five-year plan.Assist in the completion of the annual impairment review.Oversee and monitor the decision-making forum of the Investment Review Board for CAPEX.Conduct post-implementation reviews of CAPEX expenditure and performance against budget.Lead and develop the planning team to ensure the completion of forecasting and budgetary tasks.Proactively work to automate and enhance the company's business planning processes and systems to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of budgets and budget preparation, thereby facilitating informed decision-making and the achievement of the company's financial objectives.The skills we are looking for: Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and manage relationships at all levels within the organisation.Influencing Skills: Demonstrated aptitude for influencing decisions and outcomes at various organisational levels.Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience in leading and participating in cross-functional teams.Organisational and Time Management: Exceptional skills in organizing tasks and managing time effectively.Financial Modelling: Advanced skills in financial modelling and analysis.Analytical and Report Writing: Strong analytical capabilities and report writing skills.Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver key business messages clearly and confidently to senior management.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely.Self-Starter: Proactive and flexible, with a willingness to take initiative and complete tasks efficiently.Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.Qualified Accountant: Fully qualified accountant with significant industry experience and a management background.Benefits of Working at Three Flexible working with our new Hybrid model, our employees will enjoy more flexibility working from home and our Head Office in Dublin (3 days per week office based)Competitive salary, annual performance bonus & pension contribution25 days holidays plus 2.5 company days Annual Leave buy or sell (buy or sell up to 5 days AL each year)Healthcare Insurance through our flexible benefits programme Life assurance, phone & laptop, subsidized canteenAccess to learning & development tools such as LinkedIn LearningFree on-site parking
