Financial & Project Accountant

Responsibilities & Accountabilities: · Review and assist in Internal Financial Controls improvements and documentation.

· Assist in the preparation of management monthly accounts including reconciliations, journal posting, analysis & reporting

· Involved in the financial statements preparation prepared under FRS 102 / SORP

· Preparation of Year end audits files and liaising with auditors

· Support other finance work and project assignments as required

· Involvement in the maintenance of financial systems and drive for continuous improvement of systems and processes

· Maintain strong working relationships with banks, external and internal auditors and others as required

· Active participation in assessing and meeting Finance workload targets

· Various taxation returns
