DescriptionWe are hiring a Financial Reporting Accountant for our client in the higher education sector. This will be a contract to start, 3-6 months with a possibility of a permanent role, located in Dublin.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities: Preparing financial statements: Address both external and internal financial reporting requirements by preparing Local GAAP financial statements for various entities.Supporting audits: Gather necessary documentation for regulatory reporting and conduct statutory audits.Financial control: Uphold a strict financial control and reporting framework, consistently evaluating and enhancing financial accounting and control processes.Budget management: Participate in financial forecasting, risk assessment, and the oversight and scrutiny of budgets.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements: Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA or CIMAAccounting DegreeThe role requires a strong understanding of financial principles and reporting requirements, attention to detail, and the ability to present financial information clearly.
