The successful candidate will ensure that all finishing works, such as internal and external fit-out, snagging, and final inspections, are completed to a high standard and in line with client specifications.
You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure quality control and timely delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:  Oversee the finishing and fit-out phases of construction projects, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard.
Coordinate and supervise trades and subcontractors involved in finishing works, including plasterers, painters, carpenters, and decorators.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications and health and safety regulations.
Manage the snagging process, ensuring that all defects or issues are identified and resolved promptly before project handover.
Liaise with the site manager, project manager, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of the finishing phase and that project deadlines are met.
Maintain detailed records of site activities, including progress reports, snagging lists, and quality control documentation.
Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, industry standards, and the project's quality requirements.
Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring that their expectations are met and any concerns are addressed.
Monitor the use of materials and manage site resources efficiently to avoid wastage and delays.
Assist with final inspections, testing, and certification processes before the project handover.

Organisational Skills : Strong planning and organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and the use of surveying equipment.
Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including subcontractors, engineers, and project managers.
Adaptability : Flexible approach to work, capable of adjusting to project demands and challenges.
Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, particularly finishing trades such as joinery, plastering, painting, and decorating.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of tradespeople and subcontractors.
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience ensuring compliance on-site.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any relevant construction management software.
