Allied Fire Protection Ltd is a leading provider of Fire Protection equipment with a portfolio of public and private sector clients across Ireland.
We specialise in the supply installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire alarm systems, and emergency lighting – delivered by our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers & installers.A new and exciting opportunity is available in the Cork area for a Field Service Engineer.
The Engineer will be based mainly around the greater Cork City area but travel further afield will be required from time to time.
We are looking for a 'Can Do' motivated individual who is keen to join our progressive & growing company.We offer a highly competitive rewards package including…Competitive salary packageCompany vehicleLaptopPhoneTraining & Personal developmentPerson Spec…At least 3 years proven experience in the Fire Alarm Industry and/or Electronic/Electrical SystemsExcellent interpersonal skills, positive 'Can Do' attitudeElectrical or electronic background Field service experience desirableEnglish speakingProficient in MS Office and/or other software programmesFamiliarity with mobile tools & appsFull Clean Driving LicenceRole…Servicing and Commissioning Fire Alarm protection equipment…Servicing and Commissioning equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.Testing system and analysing any failures.Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.Advise management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product & service improvements.Key Responsibilities…Provide excellent customer service and customer support during field visits or when On CallBuild positive relationships with customers and represent Allied Fire in a professional &trusted manner ensuring company vehicle, uniform and paperwork promote professionalismManage all on site service, maintenance and test tasks as required to relevant standardsDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine solutionsCarry out preventative maintenance & make recommendations based on age of systems & equipmentProduce timely and detailed service reportsCooperate with technical & field teams and share information across the companyUnderstand and anticipate customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefingsProvide feedback to management regarding customer request, satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.Follow all company's Standard Operating Procedures and safe working practicesAdvise and report on change requests for documented processes SalaryCompetitive Salary
