Fire Alarm and Emergency Lighting Field Service Engineer (Full Time)Kerry, IrelandDescriptionAllied Fire Protection Ltd is a leading provider of Fire Protection equipment with a portfolio of public and private sector clients across Ireland.
We specialise in the supply, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting – delivered by our team of highly qualified and experienced engineers & installers.
A new and exciting opportunity is available in the Kerry area for a Field Service Engineer.
The Engineer will be based mainly around the county of Kerry, but travel further afield will be required from time to time.
We are looking for a 'Can Do' motivated individual who is keen to join our progressive & growing company.
We offer a highly competitive rewards package including: Competitive salary packageCompany vehicleLaptopPhoneAt least 3 years proven experience in the Fire Alarm Industry and/or Electronic/Electrical SystemsElectrical or electronic backgroundProficient in MS Office and/or other software programmesFamiliarity with mobile tools & appsFull Clean Driving LicenceResponsibilities: Servicing and commissioning fire alarm and emergency light protection equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.Testing systems and analysing any failures.Consulting with senior personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.Advising management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product & service improvements.Providing excellent customer service and support during field visits or when on-call.Building positive relationships with customers and representing Allied Fire in a professional & trusted manner.Ensuring that company vehicle, uniform, and paperwork display a high degree of professionalism.Managing all on-site service, maintenance, and test tasks as required to relevant standards.Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining solutions.Carrying out preventative maintenance & making recommendations based on the age of systems & equipment.Producing timely and detailed service reports.Cooperating with technical & field teams and sharing information across the company.Understanding and anticipating customer requirements and making appropriate recommendations/briefings.Providing feedback to management regarding customer requests, satisfaction, product performance, and suggestions for product improvements.Following all company's Standard Operating Procedures and safe working practices.Advising and reporting on change requests for documented processes.
