Job DescriptionOur client is a leading specialist in the Fire Protection market.The Fire Engineer will be responsible for the install, commission, service and maintain fire detection, alarm and suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers.Commission fire detection, alarm and suppression systems to agreed customer specificationsService and maintain fire detection, fire suppression systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguisher in accordance with agreed service and maintenance contracts as per IS 3218 2013 + A1 2019,IS3217:2013 and IS291:2015Support sales team specify customer needs through provision of expert advice during on-site inspectionsRespond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and courteouslyRespond to emergency activations and other attendances advised through service desk and pageboy servicesProvide regular reports on activities that will enable management plan strategic and operational direction for the fire systems teamCorrect use of P.D.A.
and close jobs with any other information required to enable work be invoiced to customers promptly and job certificationDeputise for manager in any matters as directed by ManagerAttain comprehensive knowledge of, and keep up to date with all standards relevant to Fire industryJob RequirementsExperience in conventional and analogue fire alarm systemsExperience in fire suppression systemsExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsPlanning & organising skillsProblem solving abilityFlexibilityResults focusCustomer focusAbility to work to tight deadlinesFull clean driving licence essentialElectrical background a distinct advantagePackageCompetitive salary based on experienceFull time permanent role
