Job Overview Jensen Hughes has a rare and exciting opportunity for a talented Fire Engineer to join our market-leading Ireland team and help us drive excellence across our projects and deliver world-class life safety solutions to our diverse client base in 2024! Our Galway and Cork team have had a record-breaking year with some truly impressive successes to shout about; now is a great time to join us. This role can be located anywhere in Ireland on a remote basis.

Jensen Hughes encourages all Engineers to achieve chartered status and offers help and support during the process.Responsibilities Preparing fire strategies for a wide range of buildings using ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS7974, HTM Guidance, and BB100 among other documents.Take a lead on Technical projects.Manage medium/large size projects including fee proposals and invoicing.Be the expert to our clients and that all-important first point of call.Lead discussions with the design team, building control, and fire service.Attend industry conferences to network and embrace industry trends and best practices.Supervise and train graduate engineers.Requirements and Qualifications A background in fire engineering preferably within a consultancy environment.A bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Engineering.Ideally working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.The right to work in Ireland.The ability to undertake work independently.The ability and desire to mentor and manage our young professionals.
